Launchpad is a charity supporting Reading's homeless.
​
Primarily, it provides such support as drop-in confidential housing advice and counselling, short-term financial support of families and individuals who are looking for or recently moved into housing, and its own clean safe housing for those who are homeless.
​
At the same time, it provides a range of counselling including support aimed at breaking the cycle of alcohol and substance abuse, programs for allotment growing and healthy living, and importantly education and training to help individuals reach employment.
​
Overall, Launchpad effectively works among the homeless in Reading to make a difference on an individual basis.

From 7-9pm on Thursday the 8th of December, Reading School will be hosting a Quiz Night to fundraise for Launchpad, the focus Charity of this term.
Teams: max. 7 people. Choose your own original team name; there will be a prize for the best team name!
Entry fee: £2 a person
Food and Drink: Free (donations accepted)
