Rainedge can in short be described as a non-profit help and education organization for poor and marginalized children and youth in Nakuru, Kenya. Education helps give people a hope for the future and can be the way out of poverty.
All work within Rainedge is based on Christian principals and values, but it does not exclude people who do not share the same conviction from receiving help. Rainedge provides help for all despite belief, gender and race to the extent that is possible.

The children are offered professional counseling and care to help them get through any trauma from their past. The aim for all the boys and girls at the Home is that their lives will be transformed by restoring their trust in adults, letting them feel and know that they are loved and precious and thereby build their self-esteem. All the children in the Children’s Home are therefore sponsored until they have completed their education.
